Storyboard: Opening Cutscenes
A Castle on a Hill
From a distance, the Player can see a castle on a hill. Vaguely illuminated in the dark, it's impossible to tell if it's inhabited on not.





The Castle Gate
The Player's path coincides with a fence that eventually leads to an old, dilapidated fence. It's clearly marked with "Danger" and "Keep Out" signs that she ignores.



Warning Signs
Once inside the gate, there are more warning signs telling the Player not to continue.







Castle Grounds
Further inside the gate, the grounds begin to populate.



A Way Inside
Finally, the Player arrives at a large stone wall and searches for a way inside. Walking through overgrowth, she passes locked doors and discarded artifacts. Then she finds an open window.





The Kitchen Pantry
She climbs inside the window only to find that that the ground floor is far below. She lands in a crouch in what appears to be an old kitchen storage room, a pantry.





The Kitchen
The Pantry exit leads to the Kitchen. A warm light streams in a window that makes the room inviting.





The Kitchen/Castle Threshold

After she explores the kitchen she rounds a corner to find the castle proper. She stands on the threshold of an empty hallway.
