Storyboard: The Wizard's Tower
Entry to the Tower
When the Player comes to the Wizard's Tower, there will be a final warning to go back and the Player's controller might be disabled such that they are forced to look back from where they came.

The Player is asked to present the Queen's ring to confirm they want to continue. The Player finds the ring in the The Castle History portion of the game.
This triggers the rattle of something falling down the stairs.

A skull tumbles into view and lands at the Player's feet. This is meant as a jump scare more than anything else.
The skull is following by a non-threatening, 'cute' mouse. He's lit so that we watch him do his best to get down the stairs. The mouse acknowledges the Player, sniffs the skull, then turns to climb up a couple stairs where he waits for the Player to follow.
Meet the Mouse

From here on out, the mouse, a companion Pawn, stays with the Player. There are Blueprint Triggers present along the stairs so that sometimes the mouse leads. Otherwise, the mouse follows (using the companion coding). The result is such that mouse continues up the stairs unless the Player stops. Then the mouse also stops.
Tower Doors

When the pair come to locked doors, we will take the Player Controller away from the Player. We'll cut to a mouse cam and watch the mouse approach the door at mouse level. Here a light will animate through the crack under the door and a letter from the Wizard will slide out.

At this point a cutscene plays. We see the letter rise, open and unfold. The letter will then magically transform.

The Cootie Catcher
The cutscene widget will transition to a button input widget and will look like a traditional cootie catcher.

The Prince's Cell
At the top of the Tower we find the Prince's cell and the Prince inside. He greets the Player with an animation. The animation is dependent on the "Character Trait" that the Player picked on the "Character Trait Widget". In fact, everything about the Prince is dependent on the answers the Player gives to each cootie catcher.
